Rob specializes in SEO technical site audits, helping customers with their SEO strategy, coaching/training our customers, implementing local SEO tactics, and creating content and link-building strategies. An SEO and online marketer with 17 years of experience, Rob has headed up Neon Ambition’s SEO team since 2015. He is also the technical editor of two SEO/e-commerce books from O'Reilly, Social eCommerce and The Art of SEO.
Rob loves untangling complicated technical SEO issues to instantly increase clients' organic traffic just as much as seeing changes to their local SEO drive more feet through the door of their brick and mortar locations. Whether driving thousands of new visits through a small change to a big site, or driving a few new customers each day through a big change to a small site, he understands the power of SEO.
Rob has spoken at numerous marketing events including Pubcon, SMX Advanced, SEMPO Canada/Bing Search Summit, BlueGlassX, IIMA Fusion Conference, DMA Retail, Annual Conference for Catalogs & Multichannel Merchants, Endeca Discover Conference, and numerous marketing and SEO Meetup events. Rob lives in beautiful Vancouver, B.C., with his wife and two daughters. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping and fly fishing. He is also an avid barbecuer but has yet to replicate barbecue as good as Austin’s.

Patrick is an award-winning, multi-talented, multi-business entrepreneur and creative director, as well as one of the top branding/design professionals in the world.
Having founded, merged and/or sold multiple brand marketing firms; an exhibit manufacturing and trade show services company; a full-service printing company; and a staffing, recruiting and HR services firm, he has a unique understanding of the branding and marketing world.
Carolyn comes to Neon after 15 years of experience at some of the biggest advertising agencies in NYC and Boston. Some of her past clients include IBM, Lysol, DirecTV, Under Armour, Sotheby’s Realty, Woodchuck Cider, Department of Defense and Hollywood Tans. She combines an unparalleled trifecta of account management skills, creative strategy and media strategy, and she believes her passion and entrepreneurial motivation make her not only a great agency partner but a great extension of the client’s business development team.
Her passion for account management is fueled by her love for working with a team to solve the problem at hand. She started her post-college career as a professional soccer athlete and has kept the same foundation for success throughout the rest of her career path: if you trust, respect and care for your teammate’s success, you rise together.
Carolyn lives in Houston, Texas. She’s an avid “get-out-and-live” person and is often playing soccer, biking around the city or exploring something new — which could be a new local restaurant or one of seven wonders of the world.
Brandon has been building and optimizing landing pages and websites for over 12 years. Like most excellent CRO experts, he has a wide-ranging, diverse experience base that led him to CRO.
A self-taught programmer, he started his career as a web application developer before quickly jumping to digital marketing — building and optimizing direct response ad campaigns on Adwords and Facebook. He combined that big-picture perspective with his web development capabilities to optimize websites for conversion.
Brandon has optimized sites for companies big and small, including Whitepages.com, Spokeo.com, Credit.com, BackgroundChecks.com, Indeed.com, Honest.com, and UnderArmour. He also carries the highest certification in the CRO industry (ConversionXL).
Brandon's had the privilege of studying CRO, analytics and conversion copywriting under industry titans such as Peep Laja, Craig Sullivan and Joanna Wiebe. Now he brings his professionalism to the Neon Ambition team.
Sue guides Neon Ambition's strategic media planning and buying. She develops fully integrated media plans that target the audience throughout their daily lives as well as when and where they are actively searching for information.
Sue led the media team at Razorfish Healthware, where she was VP, Group Director. Prior to joining RHW, Sue worked at Harmelin Media for 15+ years, and before that at several full-service ad agencies in Chicago, New York and Philadelphia. A few of her professional highlights include being head of research services, media integration training lead, planning advisory group lead and a member of Harmelin’s non-traditional media committee.
Sue is a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, where she earned a B.S. in Journalism with a specialization in Advertising.
Jumping into a content marketing program can be like ice swimming. If you have never done it, and you're not prepared, you might drown from the shock! Kasie loves to help businesses and agencies develop strategies to produce content that targets their ideal customers, converts them into leads and nurtures them into customers. She also loves managing the accounts for many clients in our organization.
Kasie sold new homes for custom builders in master-planned developments in the suburbs of Houston. She found success through her own marketing efforts to homebuyers and realtors, which led her to the marketing industry. She has since worked with a wide range of industries and business types for over eight years. She especially loves working with SMBs, real estate projects and breaking into niche markets. She's Google AdWords certified, and she has a few certifications with HubSpot including Inbound, Hubspot and Partner.
Kasie lives in Houston with her husband, three kids and two dogs. Any precious weekend time is spent in church, at the beach or getting out in the Hill Country to detox from technology.
Jenni Swedlund is responsible for overarching campaign strategy, executing campaigns, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring that all projects stay on track with budget, timing and strategy. With over 10 years in the business, Jenni’s background is in both traditional and digital advertising. Her clients have included telecom (T-Mobile and Windows Mobile), healthcare (Memorial Hermann), SaaS (Alert Logic, Sonus), retail (AMD, Mattress Firm) and food service (la Madeleine).
Jenni is a Pacific Northwesterner at heart and loves spending time with her husband, two boys and their funny-looking Boston Terrier.
Jim's goal is to leverage technology in order to help our clients excel in the ever-changing world of websites and mobile apps. He enjoys working with businesses and organizations, small and large. He helps illustrate the company message with popular design trends, modern UI & UX, and cutting edge functionality.
Discovering his love for complex problems and technology mixed with helping others, Kenneth fell in love with coding, specifically web and app development. Helping businesses utilize their untapped data sources and ensuring their brand is optimized and consistent on every device and platform is his speciality (except for IE 8).
Currently living in Redondo Beach, when not exploring the web, you can find Kenneth riding up and down Pacific Coast Highway training for the BikeMS Bay to Bay to support Multiple Sclerosis or enjoying a good craft stout with friends!
Jacqueline is a rare breed of art director. Grounded in art trends and rooted in strategy, Jacqueline brings both a visual and a cunning eye to Neon Ambition. She specializes in holistic art direction, maintaining focus on the single most important message a client wants to convey and making sure everything funnels back to that point.
Jacqueline has a master’s degree in advertising with a focus in creative from the University of Texas at Austin, and bachelor’s in advertising from Western Kentucky University. She has received numerous advertising and design awards, spanning Addys, Markies, Louies and a global D&AD pencil for excellence in art direction. She has worked on major brands such as Snickers, Jack Daniel's, Austin Tourism, Domino's, Starbucks and Texas Lottery.
Originally from England, Jacqueline made her way to Austin to immerse herself in the awesome design and advertising community, and to enjoy tacos for every meal. She spends most nights on the couch with her laptop, her cat, her fiancé and a good glass of wine, in that order.
Keyon is a user experience analyst and project manager specializing in online conversions, web analytics and UX improvements. In his 12 years of experience, he has managed a variety of projects from inception to execution across online marketing, internal and external support, and user engagement with measurable results. Keyon loves CRO work because the success (or failure) of your idea is quickly evident. He thrives on learning, especially from failure.
Keyon has been Web Analytics Association certified since 2008, and a Google Analytics Individual Qualified (GAIQ) program member since 2007. He’s an expert in Excel and Optimizely with significant experience using macros (VBA) and building forms, and working in jQuery.
Keyon plays tennis and soccer for exercise, but at heart he’s a gamer. His favorite is still a classic game of Dungeons and Dragons. Having lived in several countries abroad, he also loves to travel, meet people and try new, exotic foods.
Sarah makes sure all of Neon Ambition’s copy is clear, on-brand and error-free. Her favorite part of her job is wrestling with stubborn, unrefined copy until it bends into elegance. She has been editing, writing and proofreading full time since she received her MFA in 2006. An ad agency veteran, she has applied her expertise to traditional and digital projects running the gamut from print ads to emails, brochures to websites, and organic to paid social media. Her client list includes Alcon, Invisalign, car2go, Texas Education Agency and the Don’t Mess with Texas campaign.
In her free time, Sarah makes pottery, wrangling clay instead of copy. She also loves to camp, hike and sip well-crafted cocktails on a patio with her wife in her hometown of Austin.
Christina creates successful brands. In her last year of college, she started her own digital marketing agency, and the company grew to manage over $1 billion in advertising budget in just five years. During her journey, she became a leading brand strategist, successful entrepreneur and sought-after speaker.
Christina is a Stevie Awards Winner and a three-time consecutive Google Partners All-Stars Winner. She was a two-time Corporate Social Media Awards Finalist in 2016 and shortlisted by the US Search Awards for Best Use of Social in a Search Campaign in 2014, 2015 and 2016. She has been featured in TheRichest, UpWork's Annual Impact Report, Entrepreneur and the Huffington Post.
Christina has spoken at some of the world's biggest business and marketing conferences. Recent keynotes were presented at events such as Pubcon, named a Forbes must-attend conference, and an Inc. top conference for growing your business and the SMX. Her clients have included Microsoft, Bing, Facebook, Google, Yellow Pages, Thomson Reuters and State Farm.
Eddie is six pounds of pure ambition. He never lets his small stature stand in the way of the task at hand.
Eddie knows the team values appreciation, and as Chief Treat Officer he's in charge of handing out treats for a job well done. He may eat more treats than he hands out but, hey, he's a dog. What can you expect?
Walter "Wally" White is the laziest member of Neon Ambition by a LONG shot. As CEO of Dog Operations, it's a wonder the dogs around the office ever get anything done.
Wally likes to lead from his perch on top of the couch and alerts everyone that its dinner time at 5 p.m. each day. He's Eddie's best friend and worst sworn enemy.
Originally from Indiana, Jordan gained his online marketing experience working in New York, London, Sydney and now Austin. He was lucky enough to start his career at Google in NYC, working with the top 500 e-commerce companies to improve their conversion rates. He then transferred to the London office, where he led the Google Analytics Partner program for 17 countries across Europe. This exposure to some of the best CRO specialists in the world opened his eyes to the power of understanding Google Analytics data as well as user behavior and psychology to improve conversion rates.
After a year of travel with his girlfriend (now wife!) left them in Australia short on cash, Jordan joined a top web design agency in Sydney. Over the next three years, he started the online marketing division and grew it to over 50% of their revenue. Having finally found his calling and passion for helping companies grow, he decided to move to Austin to settle down and start Neon Ambition.
Jordan and his wife, Gemma, work/live to travel and try to make the most of every vacation day afforded to them. Visiting and hiking through America’s many national parks are high on their list of upcoming trips. When not travelling, their two dogs, Walter White and Eddie, keep them entertained and on the move. Living in Texas has also inspired Jordan to work on his barbecue and grilling skills, but he still has a long way to go before he’s anyone’s pitmaster.
