Content Marketing Manager

Hours: 30 hours/week M-F, 100% remote

Are you an inbound content marketing pro? 

The ideal partner is experienced in segmenting client's customers into distinct types, creating personas, developing message maps, creating content for and executing emails for each stage of the buyer journey, developing content offers like ebooks and executing and A/B testing landing pages that drive to these offers. We needs someone who is proficient in CRM tools (especially Hubspot), has client-facing experience,  and strong presentation skills.

The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading the strategic direction of the content marketing they develop for their clients
  • Developing personas for their clients
  • Creating message maps that speak to each persona's buyer journey
  • Creating and managing email campaigns via HubSpot or other automation platforms for a variety of audiences
  • Developing content offer ideas, articulate the ideas into action plans and executing these campaigns for their clients
  • Building landing pages and other campaign assets for various content offers
  • Website page build/ updates/ modifications
  • Writing social media updates
  • Writing client reports
  • Manage and keep track of client tasks, deadlines, and priorities
  • Write creative briefs and directing designers and web developers through project cycles
  • Present directly to clients, address feedback

You need to have:

  • Three to five years of content marketing/ marketing agency experience executing the tasks outlined above
  • Knowledge of Hubspot (and/or other types of marketing automation software such as Active Campaign, Marketo, or others)
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, Google Office Suite, basic HTML
  • The ability to source or create new images for a variety of applications
  • Keep current with HubSpot content marketing certifications, best practices, and associated resources
  • A sharp focus on your goals, your team's goals, company goals, and the customer's goals
  • A strong desire to be part of a team
  • Self-motivation, self-awareness, self-discipline, self-improvement, using good judgment, having positive energy and a willingness to help others is key to success in this remote role

Hours: 30-35 hours/week M-F, 100% remote

  • Exceptional business communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of how SEO works and comfort level discussing it with clients a plus
